PTFE Flask

The main purpose:

1. Reactor between liquid and solid or liquid;

2. Assembling a gas reaction generator (normal temperature, heating);

3. Distillation or fractionation of liquids (flasks with branch pipes are also called distillation flasks);

How to use it safely:

1. It should be heated on an asbestos net to make it heated evenly; when heating, there should be no water droplets on the outer wall of the flask.

2. The flat bottom flask cannot be used for heating for a long time.

3. When not heating, if a flat-bottomed flask is used as a reaction vessel, there is no need to fix it with an iron stand.

Precautions for use:

1. Asbestos nets should be used for heating, or other hot baths can be used for heating. The amount of liquid shall not exceed 2/3 of the volume, and shall not be less than 1/3 of the volume;

2. When configuring accessories (such as thermometers, etc.), appropriate rubber plugs should be selected, and special attention should be paid to checking whether the airtightness is good;

3. When distilling, add a small amount of zeolite to the bottom of the bottle in advance to prevent bumping;

4. When heating, it should be placed on the asbestos net to make it evenly heated;

5. After the distillation is completed, the piston must be closed before stopping the heating to prevent sucking back;
