The opening of flask does not have the outstanding breach as beaker, and when pouring soln, is easier to flow down along outer wall, so usually all can touch bottleneck to prevent solution from flowing down along outer wall with PTFE stirring rod. Due to the narrow mouth of the flask, it is not suitable for stirring with a PTFE stirring rod. If you need to stir, you can hold the mouth of the bottle and turn your wrist slightly to stir evenly. If it is heated to reflux, a magnetic stirrer can be placed in the bottle and stirred with a heating stirrer. Flasks can be divided into flat bottom flasks and round bottom flasks according to their appearance.

How to use it safely:

1. It should be heated on an asbestos net to make it heated evenly; when heating, there should be no water droplets on the outer wall of the flask.

2. The flat bottom flask cannot be used for heating for a long time.

3. When not heating, if a flat-bottomed flask is used as a reaction vessel, there is no need to fix it with an iron stand.

Precautions for use:

1. Asbestos nets should be used for heating, or other hot baths can be used for heating. The amount of liquid shall not exceed 2/3 of the volume, and shall not be less than 1/3 of the volume;

2. When configuring accessories (such as thermometers, etc.), appropriate rubber plugs should be selected, and special attention should be paid to checking whether the airtightness is good;

3. When distilling, add a small amount of zeolite to the bottom of the bottle in advance to prevent bumping;

4. When heating, it should be placed on the asbestos net to make it evenly heated;

5. After the distillation is completed, the piston must be closed before stopping the heating to prevent sucking back;
