Product Description
PFA test tubes possess excellent chemical inertness, high temperature resistance (-200℃ to +260℃), superior non-stick properties, low leaching, and high purity. They are commonly used for storing high-purity chemicals, trace analysis, and handling corrosive samples (such as hydrofluoric acid). They are ideal for demanding laboratory applications, being more durable and reliable than traditional glass or plastic test tubes.
Main features and uses:
Excellent chemical resistance: Resistant to almost all corrosive chemicals, including strong acids and alkalis, and insoluble in any solvent.
High and low temperature resistance: Usable over an extremely wide temperature range, remaining stable from cryogenic (-200℃) to high-temperature (260℃).
High purity and low contamination: Chemically inert, with low levels of leachates and trace metals, preventing sample residue and cross-contamination, suitable for trace analysis.
Non-sticky and easy to clean: Smooth, hydrophobic, and non-adhesive surface, allowing for easy sample pouring, reducing residue, and facilitating cleaning.
Physical properties: Typically translucent, easier to process and mold than PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), and can be made into conical-bottom tubes for centrifugation.
Applications: Widely used in environmental monitoring, trace metal analysis, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and storage of high-purity reagents and corrosive chemicals.
