Product Description
PTFE Serrated Stirring Blade(also known as a PTFE stirring paddle/disperser) is a laboratory/industrial stirring tool primarily composed of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) outer casing containing a stainless steel rod and movable PTFE stirring blades. It features excellent chemical resistance, high-temperature resistance, anti-adhesion properties, and strong stirring power. It is commonly used for mixing corrosive liquids, high-temperature solutions, or high-viscosity media in flasks.
Working principle:
By connecting to a mechanical stirrer, the PTFE stirring blade rotates at high speed inside the flask, generating a vortex that thoroughly mixes and disperses the solution.
Main Features:
Excellent chemical stability: PTFE material (commonly known as "Teflon") is inert to most chemicals and resistant to corrosion.
Wide temperature range: Can withstand temperatures from low temperatures to approximately 260°C, making it ideal for high-temperature reactions.
Low friction and non-stick properties: Smooth surface, easy to clean, and reduces sample adhesion.
Efficient stirring: Designed with movable blades to provide powerful stirring.
Internal stainless steel reinforcement: Ensures structural strength while preventing direct contact between PTFE and the solution (blades only).
Application Field:
Used in chemistry, biochemistry, and pharmaceutical laboratories for stirring various acids, bases, solvents, and organic compounds.
Suitable for high-temperature reactions and mixing processes involving corrosive media.
